Barbeque Roast

Ingredients

  • Sauce:
  • 1 4 lb. blade roast
  • 3/4 cup ketchup
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
  • Freshly ground pepper, to taste
  • 2 celery stalks, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat both sides of barbeque on high for 10 minutes.

Quickly sear both sides of roast. Turn off one side of the grill and turn the other side to low, 300 degrees.

Combine the ingredients for the sauce. Spread half the sauce on a 24x18 inch sheet of double heavy duty aluminum foil. Place roast on foil, then place the rest of the sauce on top of the roast.

Secure the foil around the roast. Place on the off side of the grill. Close the lid and cook for 2 hours for rare.
