Almond Squares

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1/4 cup soy flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 1/2 cups honey
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp almond extract
  • 1 cup raw sesame seeds

Preparation

Step 1

Sift together flours and baking powder; set aside. Mix oil and honey, beat in eggs one at a time, add extract and combine with flour mixture. Stir in sesame seeds. Spread into greased 11-by-7-inch pan. Bake at 350 F for 25 to 30 minutes. Cool in pan and cut into squares.
