Baked Beans

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. dried beans, soaked overnight
  • 1/2 tsp. dried mustard
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • Freshly ground pepper
  • 2 cups ham, cubed
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. molasses
  • 2 Tbsp. maple syrup

Preparation

Step 1

Combine the beans, mustard, salt, baking soda, Worcestershire sauce, pepper, onion and ham in a crock pot.

Cook for 8 hours on low.

Then add the brown sugar, molasses and maple syrup. Stir, and cook for 2 more hours on low.
