Ingredients
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1/2 cup wheat germ
- 1/2 cup cornmeal
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/3 cup sesame seeds
- Dash of pepper
- 1/2 cup safflower oil
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup honey
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 F. Oil 2 baking sheets.
In a large bowl, mix flour, wheat germ, cornmeal, oats, sesame seeds, and pepper.
In a small bowl, combine oil, water, and honey. Stir into the flour mixture.
On a floured board, roll the dough to a 1/2-inch thickness. Cut into 4-by-1/2-inch sticks. Place on baking sheets.
Bake until lightly browned, 20 to 25 minutes.
