Step 1
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
•Scrub potatoes under cold running water
•Pierce skin with a knife or cut one end piece off to release steam during cooking
•Place potatoes on oven rack and cook for 45 minutes to an hour, depending on size (larger potatoes may require just a bit longer) They should feel tender when pierced with a fork.
Your sweet potato will be delicious just the way it is. Add butter, cinnamon, even sour cream if desired. Enjoy!
