Ingredients

  • 1 T ancho chile powder
  • 2 t sweet paprika
  • 1 t each dry mustard, ground cumin, ground coriander, dried oregano and kosher salt
  • 1/2 t freshly ground pepper
  • 1/2 t chile de arbol powder or cayenne pepper
  • 1 1/2 lbs ground beef or ground turkey
  • 1 1/2 T canola oil
  • Barbecue sauce

Preparation

Step 1

Mix all ingredients except bbq sauce. Divide into four burgers. Grill meat until golden brown and slightly charred on one side. Brush with bbq sauce and turn over. Cook through to your likings. Serve with more bbq sauce.
