Cheddar Biscuits (Red Lobster)

Ingredients

  • Brush on Top:
  • 2 1/2 C. bisquick baking mix
  • 3/4 C. cold whole milk
  • 4 Tbsp. cold butter (1/2 stick)
  • 1/4 Tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 heaping cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 1/4 Tsp. dried parsley flakes
  • 1/2 Tsp. garlic powder
  • pinch salt

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven 400. Combine bisquick with cold butter in medium bowl using pastry cutter or large fork. Do not mix throughly. There should be small chuncks of butter about the size of peas. Add cheese, milk, and 1/4 Tsp. garlic. Mix by hand until combined but do not over mix.

Drop 1/4 cup portions of dough onto ungreased cookie sheet using an ice cream scoop.

Bake 15-17 minutes or until tops begin to turn light brown.

When you take biscuits out of the oven, melt 2 Tbsp. butter in small bowl. Stir in 1/2 Tsp. garlic and dried parsley flakes. Use brush to spead garlic butter over tops.
