Ingredients

  • 1 cup softened butter
  • 3 Tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 1 3/4 cups flour

Preparation

Step 1

In large bowl, beat butter until fluffy, gradually beat in cornstarh, then sugar. With wooden spoon, beat in flour, about 1/4 inch at a time.
*On lightly floured surface roll out dough to 1/4 inch thichness. Cut out cookies. Placed on waxed paperlined tray, prick each cookie 3 times with fork. Freeze until firm.
*Place frozen cookie on baking sheet, bake at 275 oven ro 40 - 50 minutes or until firm to the touch. Remove from baking sheet and let cool on racks.
