Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 - 6oz can tomato paste
- 1-1/2 cups water
- 1 garlic clove minced
- 1 tsp salt
- 3/4 tsp oregano
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 8 oz lasagne noodles, cooked, drained (PRINCE!!!)
- 1 lb ricotta or cottage cheese (or 1/2 of each)
- 12 oz mozzarella slices or shredded (deli stella mozz - freshly grated is great!)
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan (if shredded use more)
Preparation
Step 1
Heat oven to 375
Brown meat, drain
Add onion, cook till tender
Stir in paste, water, garlic & seasonings; cover & simmer 30 min
In 12x8 baking dish, layer half of noodles, meat sauce, ricotta &/or cottage cheese, and mozzarella; repeat layers.
Sprinkle with parmesan.
Bake 375, 30 min
