Ingredients
- 1 . 2 cups Crisco
- 2 . 1 1/5 cups sugar
- 3 . 4 tsp anise seed
- 4 . 1+ tbs anise extract
- 5 . 2 eggs beaten
- 6 . 6 cups flour
- 7 3 tsp baking powder
- 8 . 1 tsp salt
- 9 . 1/2 + cups brandy
- 10 cinnamon -sugar mix

Preparation
Step 1
1. Cream Crisco, sugar, anise seed and extract in
a large mixing bowl.
2. Add beaten eggs. Mix well
3. Combine flour, baking powder,and salt in mixing
bowl
4. Add flour mixture to creamed mixture. Mix well
5. Form 6-8 baseball sized sections
6. Roll into 1/4' thick sheets. Cut with cookie cutter
7. Place on parchment paper covered cookie sheet
8. Sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar mixture
9. Bake in 350 degree oven for 15-20"
