Ingredients
- 1 egg white
- 1 Tbsp. rum
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 Tbsp. cinnamon
- 1 pound almonds or pecan halves
- cooking spray
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 225 degrees.
In a 13 quart mixing bowl with a wire whip, beat egg white with the rum until frothy.
Add sugar, salt, and cinnamon; stir to blend.
Add nuts and toss to coat.
Spread nuts on a half-sized sheet pan sprayed with cooking spray.
Bake for one hour.
Remove from oven and let cool.
Store at room temperature in an airtight plastic container.
NOTE: Make in single batches according to recipe; do not double this recipe.
