Ingredients
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 6 cups thin-sliced onions
- Salt
- 1 tbsp cider vinegar
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
Preparation
Step 1
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add onions, sprinkle with salt, and cook and stir for 15 minutes or until wilted. Reduce heat, sprinkle with cider vinegar, and cook and stir 20 minutes more. Mix in brown sugar; stir another 20 minutes until golden in color. Add water if onions stick.
