Granola

Ingredients

  • 2 cups oats
  • 1/2 cup sesame seeds, toasted
  • 1/2 cup coconut
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1 box of raisins
  • 1 bag of dried fruit (cranberry/cranberry mixes are good)
  • 1/2 cup of honey and syrup (adjust for your preference)
  • 1/3 cup of canola oil

Preparation

Step 1

Mix all ingredients except for raisins and fruit in a large bowl. Cook in batches on cookie sheets at 325 for about 15 minutes, flipping occasionally, until toasted. Add fruit and raisins only in the last two minutes -- do not add ahead or they will burn and ruin the batch! Store in airtight container. You can add different nuts and fruits depending on your tastes.
