Almond Crescent Cookies

My parents used to make these when we were little. I think the memories of that makes this my all-time favorite cookie.

Ingredients
- 1/2 c shortening
- 1/2 c margarine
- 1/3 c sugar
- 2/3 c ground almonds
- 1 2/3 c flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 c powdered sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon

Preparation
Step 1
Cream together shortening and margarine. Mix sugar, almonds, flour and salt; work into shortening mixture.
Cover; chill 2-3 hours.
Use cookie scoop to get the right size, then roll 2" crescents. Bake at 350 for 15-18 minutes. While cookies are baking, combine powdered sugar and cinnamon. Cool cookies slightly. While still warm, roll them in the sugar-cinnamon mixture.
