Spicy Salmon Steaks (Dr. Oz)

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup brown rice, cooked
- Juice of 1 fresh lemon
- 1/2 bunch cilantro, finely chopped
- 2 salmon steaks
- 4 cloves fresh garlic paste
- 1 tbsp crushed red pepper
- 1/2 tsp cumin powder
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 2 tbsp avocado oil
- Salt, to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Preparation
Step 1
First, wash the fish steaks and marinate with garlic paste, red pepper, cumin, salt and turmeric for 15 minutes. Heat avocado oil in a non-stick pan on high and add the marinated fish to sauté for 2 minutes on both sides. Cover the pan with foil and bake in oven for 15 to 20 minutes.
Put the cooked brown rice in a bowl and toss with 1 teaspoon lemon juice and some salt and pepper to taste. Mix well and pour onto 2 plates equal amounts.
Place the baked salmons each on top of the brown rice and garnish with chopped cilantro.
