Ingredients
- 3-5 lb boneless beef roast
- 1 oz package dry au jus mix
- 1 package dry Italian salad dressing mix
- 14 oz beef broth
- half a soup can of water
Preparation
Step 1
1. Place beef in a slow cooker.
2. Combine remaining ingredients. Pour over meat.
3. Cook on low for 8 hours
4. Slice meat and spoon to make sandwiches. Or shred with 2 forks and serve over noodles or rice in broth thickened with flour.
To thicken with flour: mix 3 Tbsp cornstarch into 1/4 cup cold water. Stir until smooth. Remove 1/2 cup beef broth from cooker and blend into water. Stir back into broth in cooker, stir into smooth. Cook 10-15 mins on high until broth become of gravy consistency.
