- 1 ONION MINCED
- 2 CLOVES OF GARLIC MINCED
- SAUTÉ IN OIL

Step 1
2 CANS OF BEEF BROTH. ADD WATER TO EQUAL 4 CUPS OF LIQUID. BRING TO BOIL ADD ONE CUP OF LENTILS, 2 TEASPOONS OF CUMIN. REDUCE HEAT, COVER AND SIMMER FOR 30 MINUTES. OPEN LID ADD ½ CUPS OF RICE, SIMMER AGAIN FOR 20-30 MINUTES.
SLICE 4-5 LARGE ONIONS. SAUTÉ IN LARGE FRYING PAN WITH A SMALL AMOUNT OF OIL, FRY ONIONS UNTIL BROWN. REMOVE FROM HEAT. MIX ¼ OF THE ONIONS INTO RICE MIXTURE THE TOP WITH REMAINING ONIONS UNTO RICE.
