Ingredients
- Package Biscotti Saviardi
- Mascarpone 8.8 oz
- Kalua – 4 tablespoons or to taste
- Heavy cream – 1 1/4 cup (or whatever small container is)
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 1/4 cup strong coffee – chilled
- Unsweetened cocoa – squares for shaving on top – powder for sides
Preparation
Step 1
Spray, then wrap pan or bowl in plastic wrap
1-Mix Mascarpone with ½ cup powdered sugar and 2 tab chilled coffee – 1 minute
2-Whip heavy cream with 1 tab Kailua and pinch of powdered sugar (that’s what she told me) until stiff
3- Fold together
In separate bowl mix coffee and Kailua (see if you like flavor).
First layer should be about one inch of cream mixture.
Quickly dip cookie in coffee and Kailua mix and layer on top.
Continue till top of pan and last layer should be thin layer of cream.
Cover with plastic wrap – refrigerate minimum 4 hours – better overnight
Flip over on to your final plate and remove.
Cover with powdered cocoa and top with shaved dark chocolate.
