White Chili

Ingredients

  • 2 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut in cubes
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 cans great northern beans, drained
  • 2 cans chicken broth
  • 2 cans chopped green chilis
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups milk

Preparation

Step 1

Saute chicken, onions, garlic powder in oil until chicken is no longer pink. Add beans, broth, chilis, and seasonings. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 30 mins. Remove from heat. Stir in sour cream and milk. Serve immediately. Make sure not to boil again after adding sour cream and milk.
