Ingredients

  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 (8oz) can mushrooms or fresh mushrooms sauteed
  • 1-2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 - 1 pound ground beef, cooked and drained
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 2 beef bouillon cubes, dissolved in 2 cups hot water
  • 3 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1/2 bay leaf
  • 1/2 teaspoon soy sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup cooked elbow macaroni, cooked
  • Grated Parmesan cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Saute onion and mushrooms in olive oil until slightly browned. Add drained hamburger.

Cover and simmer 10 minutes. Thicken with flour; add bouillon water and cook until thickened, stirring. Add tomato paste, bay leaf, soy sauce, sald and pepper, and cook a few minutes. Add cooked macaroni.

Pour into casserole and cover with grated Parmesan cheese.

Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
