Ingredients
- 1 - 1 1/2 lb can red kidney beans
- 1 - large onion
- 1 - green pepper
- 1 lb of ground beef
- 1 - 8 oz can of seasoned tomato sauce
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 to 1 1/2 tablespoons of chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 - bay leaf

Preparation
Step 1
Brown onion, green pepper, meat in a little hot fat. You can add the salt and some of the chili powder at this point to flavor the meat. Add beans, tomatoes, tomato sauce, chili powder, salt, bay leaf, dash of paprika, 2 tablespoons of brown sugar.
Let simmer for at least 45 minutes.
