Charleston Breakfast Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups croutons
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup red pepper, diced
  • 2 tsp mustard
  • 6 slices bacon, fried

Preparation

Step 1

Grease 8" x 8" pan and fill with croutons. Drizzle with melted butter, then sprinkle with cheddar cheese. Beat eggs, add milk, red pepper and mustard. Pour over croutons and sprinkle with crumbled bacon. Bake at 325 degrees F for 40 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before serving. Serves 4.
