Teriyaki Pork Roast

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup unsweetened apple juice
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1 tsp. ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 3-lb boneless pork loin roast, halved
  • 2 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 3 Tbsp cold water

Preparation

Step 1

1. Combine apple juice, sugar soy sauce vinegar, ginger, garlic powder, and pepper in greased slow cooker.
2. Add roast. Turn to coat.
3. Cover. Cook on low 7-8 hours. Remove roast and keep warm.
4. In saucepan combine cornstarch and cold water until smooth. Stir in juices from roast. Bring to a boil. Cook and stir for two minutes or until thickened. Serve with roast.
