Boneless Pork Chops with Apple Cider Glaze

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless pork chops
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon granulated garlic
  • 1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • APPLE CIDER GLAZE
  • 1/2 cup apple jelly
  • 1/4 cup apple cider
  • 1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

Preparation

Step 1

Prepare a charcoal fire or gas grill.

Prepare Apple Cider Glaze: Place apple jelly, cider and red pepper flakes in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and cook until reduced to 1/2 cup. Add mustard and mix well. Keep warm until ready to use.

Rub pork chops with olive oil. Sprinkle chops with salt, pepper, garlic and red pepper flakes.

Grill chops over a medium-hot fire for 7 minutes per side, or until cooked to taste. Baste chops with Apple Cider Glaze while cooking, and one final time as you take them off the grill.

Makes 2 servings.
