Picnic Chicken

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves
  • 1 c. dry bread crumbs
  • 1/2 tsp. dried parsley flakes
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. paprika
  • 1/8 tsp. dried thyme
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1 tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp. butter

Preparation

Step 1

Pound chicken to 1/4" thickness. In a shallow bowl, combine bread crumbs and seasonings. Dip chicken in egg, then in the crumb mixture. In a skillet, brown the chicken in oil and butter over medium heat for 3-5 minutes on each side or until juices run clear.
