Cherry Coke Ice Cream

Ingredients

• 2 cups cherry coke
• dash salt
• 2 cans evaporated milk
• 2 cups sugar
• 1 pint whipping cream
• 1 jar cherries, optional
• milk, if needed to fill freezer

Preparation

Step 1

Mix all ingredients together except for the cherries and milk. Add enough milk to make about 10 cups of mixture. This will make 2 batches with the ice cream attachment. For a 4-5 qt. freezer, add milk to the fill line and freeze. You may add maraschino cherries to the top or chopped in with the ice cream.
