Ingredients
- 2 Tb olive oil
- 3/4 lb Brussel sprouts
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp water
- 2 tsp soy sauce
- 1/2 C slivered almonds
Preparation
Step 1
Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add brussel sprouts, garlic and one tsp water. Cover with tight fitting lid and cook. Stirring occasionally, until Brussel sprouts are soft and browned. about 8 minutes.
Stir in soy sauce, re-cover and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
While sprouts are cooking. heat small pan over medium heat. add almonds and toast, stirring occasi0onally, until browned and fragrant. about 7 minutes.
Sprinkle over brussel sprouts just before serving.
