Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 1 /'3 cup chopped onion
- 1 (26 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce
- 1 6 oz. can tomato paste
- 1 tsp. dried Italian seasoning
- 3/4 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozza cheese
- 2 tsp. chopped chives
- 1 can crescent rolls
- 2 tbsp. grated parmesan
Preparation
Step 1
Brown beef and onion in large skillet over medium-high heat until thoroughly cooked, stirring frequently. Drain.
Reduce heat to medium-low. Stir in spaghetti sauce, tomato paste and Italian seasoning; mix well. Simmer 5 minutes. Spoon into ungreased 13" x 9" glass baking dish.
In small bowl, combine ricotta cheese, mozza cheese and chives. Blend well. Separation dough into 4 rectangles; firmly press perforations to seal. Spoon 2 heaping tablespoons of cheese mixture onto each rectangle; spread to within 1/2 inch of each short side.
Starting at short side, roll up; pinch edges to seal. Cut each roll into 3 slices. Arrange slices, cut side up, on beef mixture. Sprinkle with parmesan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 4 minutes or until golden brown.
