Ingredients
- 6 lb Lean hamburger
- 4 Medium Onion, chopped
- 4 Large tomatoes, canned
- 8 cup Water
- 1 Large beef consumme, (120oz)
- 1 Large tomato soup
- 16 Large carrots, chopped
- 1 bay leaf
- 12 Stalks celery, chopped
- 2 tsp Parsley
- 2 cup Pearl barley
- Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation
Step 1
-Brown the hamburger and onions. Drain off fat. Combine all other ingredients in a large pot. Simmer covered for at least 2 hours, stir frequently. Remove bay leaf.
