Ingredients
- Handful each of:
- 2-3 lbs beef or turkey burger
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 (28 oz) cans dices tomatoes - puree in blender
- 3 (6 oz) cans tomato paste
- 3 (15 oz) cans black beans - drained and rinsed unless using seasoned black beans
- 2 (15 oz) cans small red beans - drained and rinsed
- 1 (15 oz) can chili beans - do not drain or rinse
- (use any 6 cans of beans you like)
- 2 (11 oz) cans southwest corn
- chili powder
- basil
- parsley
- oregano
- 4-5 shakes red pepper flakes
- salt and pepper to taste (~2 tsp salt 1 tsp pepper)
- hot sauce to taste ~3 TBSP
Preparation
Step 1
brown burger - add garlic, some salt and pepper
drain fat from burger
place in large pot
add diced tomatoes and beans
add tomato paste
add spices
add corn
cook until bubbly
salt, pepper and hot sauce to taste.
add more beans, diced tomatoes or paste if needed
