Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb Beef soup bones with meat
  • 1/2 cup String beans, diced
  • 2 Medium Carrots, sliced in strips
  • 3/4 cup Tomatoes or tomato juice
  • 1 Medium potato, diced
  • 1/2 cup Sour cream
  • 2 tbsp Lemon juice
  • Dill to taste
  • 3 cup Cabbage, shredded
  • 1 Medium onion, chopped
  • 3 Medium beets, sliced in strips
  • 1 clove Garlic, crushed
  • 1/2 cup Celery, sliced thinly
  • 10-12 cup Cold water
  • salt to taste

Preparation

Step 1

-Cover meat with water and add salt. Bring to a boil, then skim. Cover and simmer 1 1/2hour. Add veggies and cook until tender. Add cream just before serving.
