ICE CREAM

Ingredients

  • 11 eggs (6)
  • 1 can condensed milk (1)
  • ½ gal. milk (1 qt.)
  • 1 T. vanilla (2 tea.)
  • 1 ½ C. sugar (3/4)
  • ●Note: Numbers in ( ) are for ½ the recipe.
  • ●Beat eggs and add 1 quart of milk. Heat at low heat until almost boiling. (Will see steam forming). Be sure to keep stirred to prevent scorching.
  • ●Remove from heat.
  • ●Add sugar and condensed milk.
  • ●When cool, add vanilla.
  • ●Mix well and freeze.

Preparation

Step 1

●For peach ice cream, add 1 quart sweetened, mashed, very ripe fresh peaches.
