Ingredients
- 9-11 pears, cored, peeled & sliced
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 1/4-1/2 t tapioca flour
- Warm water (if necessary)
- 1 1/2 C flour
- 1 1/2 C oatmeal
- 1 1/2 C brown sugar (or bit less)
- Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Allspice & salt, to taste
- 1 1/2 sticks butter, melted

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350
Butter oval baking dish
Combine pears, lemon juice and tapioca flour, toss to coat. If pears not very juicy, add some warm water. Spread in buttered dish.
Combine remaining dry ingredients, then pour melted butter in, blend with hands until well incorporated. Spread atop pears.
Bake at 350 for 45-55 mins, until bubbly at edges.
