Ultimate Butter Tarts

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup raisons
  • 1 egg slightly beaten
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar(slightly packed)
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup corn syrup

Preparation

Step 1

Combine all ingredients except raisons. Mix well. Put raisons in pastry shells, divided evenly. Fill 2/3 full with syrup mixture. Bake on bottom rack at 425 degrees. for 12-15 minutes. Don't over bake. Cool on wire rack. Remove from pans.
