    kg Pork shoulder (or loin), cubed

    cup Flour

    tbsp Thyme

    tsp Allspice

    Spring onions, chopped

    heads of garlic, chopped

  • 3-inch Ginger root, minced

  • 3/4

    cup Soy sauce

  • 1/2

    cup Brown sugar

    L Chicken stock

Directions

-Mix together Flour,thyme,allspice and cayenne in a small bowl and coat pork. -reserve seasoned flour mix for later. -in a large saucepan brown pork in oil. Add onions,garlic and ginger to pork and cook for 2 minsadd reserved flour mix and mix well. -mix together soy sauce, brown sugar and chicken stock, then add to pork and transfer all to slow cooker and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
