OLD BLACK JOE CAKE

Recipe in R.O.D.E. cookbook, Vol. 3. Submitted by Joann Tucker - This recipe is a favorite of her father's, Alfonso "Funzie" Bracale.

Ingredients

• 2 cups flour
• 2 cups sugar
• 1 tsp. baking powder
• 2 tsp. baking soda
• 3/4 cup cocoa
• 1 cup milk
• 1 cup hot coffee
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 2 eggs
• 1/3 cup oil

Preparation

Step 1

Mix well. Bake at 350F for 30 to 40 minutes. Cool.
