Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb ground beef
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves- minced
- 2 (8 oz) cans tomato sauce
- 14 oz can diced tomatoes( undrained)
- 1/2 t oregano
- 1 t dried italian seasoning
- 1/2 t salt
- 1/2 t pepper
- 16 oz pkg bowtie pasta
- 10 oz pkg frozen chopped spinach ( thawed & drained well)
- 1 1/2 C shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 C grated parmesan
Preparation
Step 1
In a large skillet, saute ground beef, onion & garlic over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain.
Transfer to 4-5 qt crock pot.
Stir in tomato sauce, tomatoes & seasonings.
Cover crockpot & cook on low for 7-8 hrs.
When ready to serve, cook & drain pasta.
Turn crock pot to high, stir in pasta, thoroughly drained spinach & cheeses.
Cover & cook for 10 mins or until heated through & cheese is melted.
