  • 4 C flour
  • 4 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 C Crisco
  • 2 C sugar
  • 2-3 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 water
  • 1 lemon juice
  • 1 tsp salt

Step 1

Cream shortening with sugar.
Add eggs and continue beating into light and fluffy.
Add rest of ingredients.

Back 45-55 minutes at 350.
