12 MINUTE ICING

Recipe is in R.O.D.E. Cookbook, Vol. 3; submitted by Joann Tucker - This icing goes well with the Old Black Joe Cake recipe.

Ingredients

• 1 stick butter
• 3 TBS flour
• 1/2 cup Crisco shortening
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 2/3 cup milk

Preparation

Step 1

Beat together first 4 ingredients. Add vanilla. Beat. Add milk. Beat for 12 minutes.
