Step 1
bring the water to a boil and while it is heating, rinse the rice well. When the water is boiling, add the rinsed rice and stir until back to a boil. reduce heat to medium and cook for 30 minutes- no stirring. After 30 minutes, strain the rice and return to hot pot off heat and cover tightly for at least 10 minutes. The steam will cook the rice the rest of the way. Season to taste
