Ingredients

  • Pie crust for 1 pie
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3 TBS unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 TSP vanilla extract

Preparation

Step 1

1. prebake pie crust at 450 to 475 for 8-10 minutes. Prick crust first on bottom and sides. Remove from oven .

2. Lower oven temperature to 325

3. Beat together sugar, flour, cocoa, butter, eggs and vanilla in a medium bowl. Spoon into pie shell.

4. Bake 25-30 minutes or until set. Allow to cool to room temperature.
