Crispy Baked Onions

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup panko
  • 2 glove garlic minced
  • salt
  • 3 large onions, halved crosswise
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp. butter

Preparation

Step 1

Mix panko, garlic and 1/2 tsp. salt.

Place onions flat side down in heavy skillet; add broth and 1 cup water, partically cover and cook over medium-high until tender, about 20 minutes. Flip, top with panko and dot with butter. Broil until golden, about 3 minutes.
