Pineapple Upsidedown Cake

Ingredients

  • Yellow box cake mix
  • can of pineapple slices ( save juice)
  • 1 lb light brown sugar ( or less)
  • marashino cherries
  • 1 stick butter( or less)

Preparation

Step 1

Melt butter & pour into pan.
Add brown sugar.
Place pineapple slices over sugar & add cherries.
Make box cake as directed - replacing liquid with pineapple juice.
Pour over pineapples & bake.
Takes a while to bake.
