Ingredients
- 1 tbsp cooking oil
- 2 tbsp vinegar
- 4 tsp ketchup
- 2 1/2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 dry onion flakes
- SALAD
- 4 cups romaine lettuce, torn or cut-up, lightly packed
- 2 hard boiled eggs, chopped
- 2 green onions, chopped
Preparation
Step 1
Dressing: Mix all 5 ingredients in small bowl to dissolve sugar. Chill for several hours or overnight. Makes 1/3 cup.
SALAD: Combine lettuce, egg and onion in a large bowl. Just before serving add dressing and toss.
NOTE: If there is no time to chill dressing before using, substitute 1/8 tsp onion powder in place of onion flakes.
