Ingredients

  • 6-8 potatoes
  • 2-3 fine chopped shallots
  • 1 lb gruyere
  • salt and pepper
  • paprika
  • heavy cream 2 pts +

Preparation

Step 1

Peel and slice potatoes fairly thin. Butter glass pan, sides and bottom very well.
Make layers:
potatoes
sprinkle shallots
sliced cheese
salt and pepper
paprika
Repeat 3 times.
Ppir cream till it is almost covering top layer.
Bake 350 1 hour - 1hour and 15 min
