Deluxe Chicken Breasts

Ingredients
- For the Sauce:
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/4 cup dry bread crumbs
- 2 egg whites, lightly beaten
- 2 tbsp water
- 4 chicken breasts
- 2 tbsp oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- paprika

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350*
On a sheet of waxed paper, combine flour and bread crumbs.
In bowl, whisk together egg whites and water. Dip chicken in egg whites. Then dredge in bread mix, turning to coat.
In skillet, heat over medium-high heat. Add chicken, cook, turning once, until browned, 10 minutes. Place chicken in a shallow dish. Bake unit cooked through, about 45 minutes.
FOR THE SAUCE:
In small pan over medium heat, melt butter. Stir in flour until well combined. Slowly add milk, stirring constantly. Cook, stirring until thickened, 8-10 minutes.
Remove from heat. Stir in 1/4 cup of cheddar.
Place chicken breasts on serving plates. Drizzle with sauce and sprinkle with remaining cheddar and paprika.
