Ingredients
- 12 oz can evaporated milk
- 2 TBS corn starch
- 1 TBS vegetable oil
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp salt (or celery salt for more flavor)
- 1/8 tsp white pepper
- 1 pinch of sugar
- 3/4 cup celery (minced)
Preparation
Step 1
In medium saucepan, whisk milk and corn starch until smooth. Whisk in oil, onion powder, salt, pepper, and celery. Cook over medium heat until thickened, stirring often to prevent sticking.
Equal to 10.75 oz can of cream of celery soup.
