Ingredients
- 1 1/8 cups kerrygold butter, softened
- 1 1/4 cups sugar
- 5 eggs
- 2 2/3 cups almond flour
- 1/8 tsp vanilla extract
- zest of half an orange
- zest of half a lemon
Preparation
Step 1
1. Place Kerrygold Butter and sugar in a stand mixer fitted with the paddle. Mix on medium speed until smooth and creamy, about 4-5 minutes.
2. Add eggs, one at a time, letting mixer fun for about 20 seconds between each egg.
3. Add almond flour, vanilla and zests. Mix on low, about 1 minute. Scrape sides of the bowl and mix 1 more minute.
4. Put almond cream in a pastry bag to fill tarts
Top with Honey Caramel Sauce (recipe is in my collection)
