Hermit Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 3/4 cups flour
• 1/2 cup shortening(melted)
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 cup sugar
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 2 eggs
• 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
• 1/8 teaspoon allspice
• 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
• 1 cup raisins
• 1 cup nuts

Preparation

Step 1

Mix all ingredients together.

Bake at 350F till done.

Sprinkle sugar on top while still hot.
