Ingredients
- Glaze:
- 4 eggs
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup oil
- 2 tsp coconut extract
- 3 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp soda
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup coconut
- 1 cup walnuts
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 1 tsp coconut extract

Preparation
Step 1
Beat eggs. Add sugar, oil and 2 tsp coconut extract. Sift together flour, soda, baking powder & salt. Stir after each addition. Add buttermilk. Fold in coconut and walnuts. Pour in greased and floured pans. Bake at 325 for 45-60 minutes.
For Glaze: Combine sugar, water, and butter & boil 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add 1 tsp coconut extract. Pour over bread and let stand four hours.
